As we start a new school year, we are excited to introduce you to our new faculty/staff. If you see them around campus, please take a moment to introduce yourself to them!

Mrs. Jezzika Darby

PK1 Assistant to Mrs. Stalder. Mrs. Darby’s experience in child and home care made her a perfect choice for PK1! She worked this summer as a counselor at Saint Mark’s Summer Camp and had the great opportunity to meet many Saint Mark’s Lions during that time. She originates from Miami, FL and some of her hobbies include playing volleyball, outdoor play with her son, theme parks, and traveling.

Mrs. Marisa Fernandez

Band Director/LS Music. Mrs. Fernandez joins Saint Mark’s with over 14 years experience in teaching music. She has degrees from the University of Miami and Florida State University. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in Buffalo, NY and moved to FL in her teen years. Mrs. Fernandez enjoys cooking, running, going to the playground with her son and traveling.

Mrs. Jennifer Georges Boardman

PK4 Teacher. Mrs. Boardman’s years of experience teaching kindergarten will be an asset as she teaches our PK4 students! She comes to Saint Mark’s with degrees from Mount Holyoke College and New York University. She loves kids and her mom was a teacher too! Her hobbies include baking, swimming, and the beach.

Ms. Allison Kantrowitz

4th Grade Teacher. Ms. Kantrowicz comes to Saint Mark’s with 15 years of teaching experience. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and completed the Educator Preparation Institute and Florida Teacher certification in 2007 in Elementary Education and ESOL, Gifted and Reading Endorsed. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, work out, find new places to eat and go to the beach.

Mr. Cole O’Connor

Middle School Social Studies. Mr. O’Connor originates from Boston and joins us from Dartmouth College where he studied Government and played D1 baseball. He most recently taught at Blue Ridge School in Virginia where he taught US History and coached Varsity Football & Baseball.

Ms. Morelia Perez

PK1 Teacher. Mrs. Perez joins Saint Mark’s with 7 years experience as a preschool teacher. You may recognize her from her time as a Saint Mark’s substitute and MMO. She originates from Venezuela and speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. Her hobbies include swimming, dancing, and cooking.

Mrs. Devin Petrillo

PK1 Assistant. Mrs. Petrillo joined Saint Mark’s last year working as an Administrative Assistant and substitute. She attended Saint Mark’s from PK-8th grade and is a proud alumni! Her hobbies include yoga, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Ame Sankovich

PK2 Assistant to Ms. Evans. Mrs. Sankovich is no stranger to Saint Mark’s as she worked Saint Mark’s Summer Camp and had the opportunity to meet many of our students! She originates from Miami, FL and enjoys playing soccer in her free time. She’s also the proud mother of two great kids!

Mrs. Claire Lewis-Viola

Nurse. Nurse Viola comes to Saint Mark’s with experience in pediatrics at Broward Health. She obtained a Bachelor degrees from Rollins College and Barry University and is excited to be working with Nurse Jami in our clinic!
