Safety is always a focus
The safety of our children, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance at Saint Mark’s. Our campus boasts 10 acres on the Middle River waterway in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Saint Mark’s security program was devised with the support of the Broward County Sheriff, Fort Lauderdale Police Department, and a private security firm. Many experts have been consulted beginning in 2014, culminating in the program we have today.
Safeguarding our children
This comprehensive plan ensures the safety of those you hold most dear. There is nothing more important to us. Our teachers are trained in crisis management, procedures are practiced, discussed and updated and our students are involved in drills regularly.
3 armed officers are always on the property with students, including evening performances and athletic games.
Our security team is trained to respond to all emergencies, administer CPR, AED and assist in traffic control.
All employees have extensive background checks.
Visiting Saint Mark’s
All visitors and contractors must check in with security upon arrival and produce valid photo identification. ID’s are then run through a national security database. Printed photo identification must be visibly worn at all times while on campus.
