Campus Improvements 2020
Happy summer days! I am excited to update our community on our summer construction projects. As you know we are 100% committed to our students returning to campus in the Fall. These projects are just another support of that statement - we know our students thrive on campus and constantly improving our facility is important. All of the following projects are underway -
Groundbreaking on June 30 of our new guard gate and east entrance.
New sport court to be completed by August 1.
Middle School Hallway Re-flooring
Church and Parish Hall bathrooms remodeled - frequently used by students and faculty.
We are also currently working with engineers and permitting on -
Seawall project - including a water lab for STEM and science projects
Dining Hall deck for an on the water eating area
A construction progress blog can be found on the front page of our website along with pictures.
By now, you should have also received a copy of our Campus Reopening Plan. You can find a timeline based COVID blog on our website along with any updates. We continue to monitor both local and national research institutes for new information around COVID-19. For our students who are high risk or have family members who are, we are currently testing options to offer synchronous learning for those who can not be on campus in the fall. We are here for our community and are working hard to make Saint Mark's a safe environment for learning.
This week, Administration returned back to campus and is available by appointment. Summer camp is starting soon and work crews are everywhere getting ready for your return. I look forward to seeing you on campus soon!
