St. Mark’s Boys basketball team emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship and game play. Players develop individual and group skills as they learn fundamentals and proper technique, and how to work as a team. Team practices provide students with a positive experience through drills and intrasquad games that prepare them for a competitive schedule.

The boys’ basketball team, under the direction of coach Christopher Priester, competes in the Independent Athletic League with playoffs and a championship game. The team won the league championship in 2014.

Boys in grades 6-8 can try out for the varsity team and those in grades 5-6 can try out for the JV team. Practices are held Monday–Thursday from 3:30-5 p.m. in our gymnasium.
