AthleticsAt St. Mark’s, we believe that the opportunity for participation in a wide variety of athletic activities is a vital part of the student’s educational experience.
The athletic program’s mission is to help student athletes develop confidence in their physical abilities while developing an interest, appreciation, and understanding of both individual and team sports.
St. Mark’s fosters a high level of competition and school spirit while emphasizing good sportsmanship, teamwork, and both personal and collective excellence. The skills that St. Mark’s athletes acquire translate into the classroom in the forms of teamwork, attentiveness, responsibility, and school spirit.
Student athletes compete at premier levels, as most St. Mark’s teams play in the Independent Athletic League. Many alumni sustain their passion for sports, participating at the high school level and on varsity teams at top-notch colleges and universities.
