ADMISSIONS CALENDAR

Admission Testing
Students entering Grades 4-8 take the SSATCLICK HERE TO REGISTER.  The St. Mark’s Episcopal School Code is 6727. Students entering PK3-Grade 3 are administered St. Mark’s Admission Exam by appointment Monday-Friday.

 

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Candidates for Early Childhood (Terrific Toddlers and PK2)

  • Parents contact the Admissions Office for an admission packet.
  • Parents arrange for a campus tour and/or an Open House visit.
  • Parents submit a Registration Form and Copy of Birth Certificate along with $500 deposit.
  • Terrific Toddlers candidates must be at least 12 months old by August 31 of the entrance year.
  • PK2 candidates must be at least 2 years old by August 31 of the entrance year.

Candidates for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

  • Parents contact the Admissions Office for an admission packet.
  • Parents arrange for a campus tour and/or an Open House visit.
  • Parents submit an Application for Admission along with $100 application/testing fee and a copy of birth certificate.
  • Parents submit Permission to Release Student Records Form to St. Mark’s.
  • Parent submits current report card or evaluation to St. Mark’s.
  • Candidate’s current school submits the teacher recommendation form to St. Mark’s.
  • The Admissions Office contacts families to schedule candidate testing on our campus.

Please note the following:

  • PK3 candidates must be at least 3 years old by August 31 of the entrance year.
  • PK4 candidates must be at least 4 years old by August 31 of the entrance year.
  • Kindergarten candidates must be at least 5 years old by August 31 of the entrance year.

Once the candidate’s admission file is completed, the Admissions Committee will carefully consider each file and the family will be notified of the admissions decision.

Candidates for Grades 1-8

  • Parents contact the Admissions Office for an admission packet.
  • Parents arrange for a campus tour and/or an Open House visit.
  • Parents submit an Application for Admission along with $100 application/testing fee and a copy of birth certificate.
  • Parents arrange for any additional educational, achievement and/or psychoeducational evaluation testing results to be submitted to St. Mark’s.
  • Parents submit Permission to Release Student Records Form to St. Mark’s.
  • Parent or current school submits two years of report cards and evaluations including current year to St. Mark’s.
  • Parent or current school submits two years of standardized test scores to St. Mark’s (if applicable.)
  • Candidate’s current school submits the teacher recommendation form to St. Mark’s.
  • The Admissions Office contacts families to schedule candidate testing on our campus.
    Once the candidate’s admission file is completed, the Admissions Committee will carefully consider each file and the family will be notified of the admissions decision.
