EARLY CHILDHOOD

OVERVIEW

The Early Childhood program is designed to give your son or daughter a joyful introduction to attending school in a safe, Christian environment. Children play, learn, and grow in a warm, caring atmosphere specifically tailored to nurture the total child.

The curriculum combines our traditional academic excellence with a perfect balance of Montessori principles designed to foster self-confidence and love of learning. Developmental activities promote growth in language, social skills, sensory perception, mathematical concepts, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving, music, and art.

This whole learning experience helps your child grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. The program sets a foundation for success in lower school, middle school, high school and college.

Terrific Toddler Program

The Terrific Toddler Program provides a loving, nurturing environment in which a toddler has a first school experience. Children who are 12 months old on or before September 1 of the academic year are eligible to enroll in the Terrific Toddlers Program. Terrific Toddlers may attend a half-day or full-day program for three days or five days a week.

Toddlers will enjoy attending school in a learning environment designed to promote spontaneous discovery and exploration. A gradual introduction into the classroom helps lessen anxieties and fosters self-confidence. The program focuses on socialization, emotional development, cognitive development, and large and small motor skill development. Sensory-based concepts in language, math, and science are introduced and reinforced in lessons and activities.

PK 2
