St. Mark’s Appoints New Athletic Director

We are proud to announce that Cole Hoppe will serve in the capacity of Athletic Director at St. Mark’s Episcopal school beginning August 7, 2017.
Cole has experience in sports administration at St. George’s Independent School in Memphis, TN, and his years of coaching and working with middle school students highly qualifies him for his new position.
Cole earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from University of Memphis and is currently working towards his Master of Science degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University at Irvine. Cole was honored as the Male High School Athlete of the Year at Briarcrest High School in 2001 and was recently inducted into their Hall of Fame. His love and passion of sports inspired him to pursue sports administration in college.
At St. George’s Independent School, Cole was responsible for organizing 72 sports teams on three campuses and overseeing various responsibilities of the coaches and staff. He was an advocate for student athlete recognition and nominated students to receive local and state wide awards. He promoted student athletes through media, statistics, record boards and closely worked with the communication department to publicize athletic accomplishments in the newspapers, digital media and school website.
Cole served as the Varsity Baseball coach this past spring at St. Mark’s and will be coaching the Varsity Flag Football team here this fall. He has an exciting first season lined up with a great coaching staff.
Please welcome Cole to our St. Mark’s family. He is both caring, personable and has a great interest in working together as a team.
